ABOUT THE SITE

One of my visual inspirations for my writing, and at times my libido, is the inimitable fantasy art of Royo. Yeah, Boris is great, and nobody does Tolkien like Hildebrandt, but neither of them quite speak to my imagination like Royo. He captures the spirit of life on a radically changed Earth. Whether it's amid the ruins of a shattered city, or in the cold wind of a mountain range, Royo's men and women cling to each other and stand by each other, challenging the world to do its worst. And even when he's doing your typical fantasy art featuring a girl with hubcaps on her boobs firing a gun in one hand that I'd need a tripod to use, he carries it off with such style and detail that you just don't care. At least I don't, anyway.

For a site with some quality Royos and a lot of great fantasy and pin-up art, click here.

Royo is represented by the NORMA agency, who also represents Koveck, my original cover artist.

We built this site using Microsoft FrontPage. Among its many fine features are an HTML "tags on" view, which is really sweet if you know your HTML, and a What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get (WYSIWYG) interface if you don't. Lots of great "drag-n-drop" features, too.

For a great web design resource, I recommend Infinight.
I hooked up with Infinight through award-winning author
Scott Nicholson, who puts the appall in Appalachia with his tales of rural horror.
